Inspire Self Healing has an integrative approach to the service. Some of the main therapies used are:


Hypnotherapy

The practice of Hypnotherapy has been around for many years. During a session a client is fully aware and fully in control. The practitioner who has recorded your case history, will be able to then guide you into a deeper state of relaxation to enable your busy conscious mind to slow down and to open up communication with your unconscious mind. 

Our beliefs and perceptions of the world have been stored here since childhood - this can often mean our beliefs are impacting on current behaviours. The Hypnotherapist will guide you during this process of either suggesting more positive beliefs (which you will have been invited to explore before the session) or exploring from the root cause - what caused these beliefs in the first place and moving on to reframing them. 

It's important to note that Hypnotherapy is successful when an individual is motivated to work on the presenting issue. The real change comes about because of the individual and the practitioner must be seen as a guide only - during this process. This is highlighted as there are many misconceptions about Hypnotherapy /Hypnosis (these are discussed during your first session or during your consultation).

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Otherwise known as 'tapping' EFT draws its influences from Eastern and Western practice. 

It works on a similar level to Acupuncture without the use of needles. 

The other difference is that a person is invited to tune into either the problem and/or sensation of the body which has become stuck as a result of negative perceptions and traumas. 

It is a very easy and safe method to follow and once learnt it enables clients to tap on any issues that come up for them in the future.

Matrix Reimprinting

This technique is used in conjunction with EFT.  It works with any specific memories as a starting point and the therapist uses EFT by tapping on you (with consent). A client will then be invited to converse with their younger self.

The trauma is released. The belief taken on at that time is then re-framed. 

An event may have also happened at an older age such as teens or more recently – this is used as a starting point if a client presents this initially.

This technique can be used for any issue and it is becoming increasingly popular due to how effective it is.

Its influences come from a variety of sources such as parts therapy, NLP, inner child work and standard EFT.

Life Purpose Coaching

These sessions explore your current blocks or challenges, your talents, your goals and life purpose.

You may choose this as a stand alone session for deeper clarification at times where you might feel stuck or lost in life. 

Or you can choose the course of 6x sessions to enable you to reach your outcome(s).

Spiritual Counselling

Traditional integrative counselling with contemporary techniques - but from a perspective that there is something to learn at a deeper / soul level. It acknowledges that we are more than mind and body.

Through this process, people are able to pay more attention to the deeper all knowing part of them.

Sessions will vary from person to person and are creative.  Some people feel that all they need is talking therapy. Others feel they need to incorporate other techniques into the session

People often access this type of counselling when they feel they are searching for a deeper meaning to their life.

Other influential schools of thought,exercises and modalities:

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic-programming), Mindfulness, Voice Dialogue and journalling.

Rest assured. Either during the consultation or your initial session, I will work with what I consider to be most effective for your needs. 

Sometimes this involves working with different therapies. You will also learn tools to manage outside of the sessions.

My aim is to support you to feel empowered and to gain freedom from areas you feel are holding you back or causing you some distress.
